MOROCCO WON CHAN 2018, WHIPPING NIGERIA BY FOUR GOALS

Morocco made history in the championship of Africa nations (CHAN) tournament when they won and became 5th champions since the commencement of this tournament in 2009. The Atlas Lion are the first nation to host and win the tournament reserved for players playing in their home land. Morocco strikes Nigeria four goals, the match started smoothly but soon morocco change the direction and increase attacking Nigeria and finally won the cup.
They took a deserving lead through a Hadraf Zacharia strike on the stroke of half time after piling pressure on Nigeria in the early exchanges on resumption of the second half ,Nigeria suffered a setback after Peter Eneji Moses was dismissed for second yellow card offense in the 48 minutes, a rampaging morocco went on to grab two goals in quick succession, the first by El kart on 60th minute mark and second for Hadraf four minutes later, the tournament’s top scorer ,Ayoub El Kaabi got in on the party grabbing the fourth goal.it was his ninth goal scored in the tournament.
So now Morocco join Democratic republic of Congo, who won this cup two times since this tournament, established in 2009 also Libya and Tunisia are among the champions of this cup, also in 2017-2018 is like a blessing to the country of Morocco because also in tournament of clubs competition of Africa, the Moroccan club of Casablanca won the cup.
This paper talked to fan and analyst of sports and gave their views about the final match. Among them, is Godfrey Damian student of UDBS said that ” it’s right for Morocco to won the tournament because it real they prepare themselves to win also they invest in young’s soccer “Also Godfrey added that this must be the lesson to our east Africa countries to invest in youths and having enough budget in sport and games.
Also Sudan is the third winner after whipping Libya; Now Africa is waiting for two years when these tournaments will resume, so that the rest of African countries which have not yet qualified to participate in the competition will struggle in quest for this golden chance.
