These efforts are very vital because of the genuine of the topic which its essence is centering upon the effects of internet especially for radicalization and on how it can contribute to either violence or development. The topic taught is relevant as the world has been witnessing the increasing wave of misuse of internet and technology something which has brought to more violence and radicalization.
Mr. Elias Mwambungulu who was among the trainers representing (UNESCO) urged the youth to beware of the internet as it is capable of bringing new way of looking at things. He extended his argument by advising Youth to look on internet and technology positively as something which is capable of transforming the society to tremendous development, contrary to that its harm which it can inflict to society is immeasurable.
The UNESCO also used Dr. Eva Solomon who is a lecturer at the University of Dar es salaam to share with SJMC youths her knowledge about the influence of internet and the process of radicalization toward violence such as instigation of terrorism whereby she said that there are number of factors which makes internet as a purveyor of violence which inter alia are; psychological and social problems as well as unemployment to youths.
Students who participated the training raised their voices to discuss on the preventive measures to treat violence and radicalization brought by misuse of internet and technology, whereby Doreen Cosmas said that there should be extension of psychological education about the use of internet and technology.
Another one who provided a strategy on how to rescue the situation was Jackline Christopher who said education system should be set to prepare youths for self-employment and the world should broaden the magnitude of fighting unemployment.
